The TraqDash ships with a locking cable that is compatible with all Traqmates shipped in the last 12 months. If your system has the non-locking DIN-style cables you will need to purchase the Locking Cable adapter option. This will replace your system cables with the new and improved locking cables and includes an adapter for your Sensor Unit.
The TraqDash has built-in shift lights and tach screens.
While the Traqmate timing functions will work fine without an RPM input, to utilize the shift lights, gear display, tach display, and record RPM in the data you will need one of the Traqmate RPM input devices.
If you already have an RPM input, the TraqDash is compatible. If you need to add an RPM input, the TraqTach is the easiest and most economical choice and accepts only RPM.
TraqData II will accept an RPM input as well as 4 analog and 2 digital inputs.
TraqData HD will accept an RPM input as well as 4 analog, 2 digital inputs, and control a Sony HD or the upcoming RaceCam HD camera.
